Terms and conditions
These General Terms of Use are entered into between the User (as defined below) and JUMP AT WORK LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 16814997, whose registered office is located at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, in connection with the use of the Solution (as defined below).
1. DEFINITIONS
“Terms” or “GTU”
Means these General Terms of Use entered into between a User and JUMP AT WORK LTD, in connection with the use of the Solution.
“Account”
Means the individual digital account created by a User in order to access the Solution.
“Features”
Means the functionalities and services made available to Users through the Solution, depending on their status.
“Confidential Information”
Means any information, data, or documents of any kind, including technical, financial, commercial, or accounting information, disclosed by one Party to the other in connection with these Terms and/or their performance, regardless of the form of disclosure.
“Party”
Means either the User or JUMP AT WORK LTD.
“Personal Data Laws”
Means:
(i) the UK GDPR as incorporated into UK law pursuant to the Data Protection Act 2018;
(ii) any applicable UK data protection legislation in force; and
(iii) guidance and codes of practice issued by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
“Third-Party Services”
Means services provided by third-party companies or entities independent from JUMP AT WORK LTD and referenced within the Solution.
“Solution”
Means the online software service accessible at https://www.join-jump.com (and any sub-domains), including its interface, design, branding, Features, and integrations with Third-Party Services.
“User”
Means any natural person holding an Account and accessing the Solution.
Unless the context requires otherwise, words in the singular include the plural and vice versa.
2. PURPOSE
JUMP AT WORK LTD develops, publishes, and operates a digital software solution under the name “Jump”, enabling independent professionals to manage their professional activity and related financial flows.
These Terms govern exclusively the conditions under which Users may access and use the Solution.
JUMP AT WORK LTD reserves the right to modify, add, or remove Features at any time, using the technical means it deems most appropriate.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
Acceptance of these Terms by the User is materialised by ticking a checkbox during the Account creation process.
More generally, any access to or use of the Solution constitutes express and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
4. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS
JUMP AT WORK LTD may amend these Terms, in particular for technical or operational reasons, provided that such amendments do not materially reduce the quality of the Solution or substantially alter the contractual balance.
Where a material change is made, Users will be informed at least 15 calendar days prior to the effective date.
If the User does not object within this period, the updated Terms shall be deemed accepted.
If the User objects, these Terms shall be terminated and the User must cease using the Solution.
5. ACCOUNT CREATION AND OPERATION
Use of the Solution requires the creation of an Account by the User.
The User undertakes to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and to promptly update their Account in the event of any change.
Upon Account creation, the User defines their login credentials, including a password, which must remain strictly confidential.
6. SEPA DIRECT DEBIT AUTHORISATION
By using the Jump Solution, the User irrevocably authorises the activation of a SEPA Direct Debit mandate, allowing JUMP AT WORK LTD (or its payment service provider) to debit amounts due from the bank account provided by the User.
This mandate may be triggered if the User’s Jump account balance becomes negative, in order to cover applicable fees and maintain access to the Solution.
Restoration of a positive balance will suspend the use of the mandate until such time as the balance falls below zero again.
Acceptance of the SEPA Direct Debit mandate is a mandatory condition for use of the Solution.
7. ACCESS, USE, AND SECURITY
Access to the Solution is strictly limited to Account holders.
The User is solely responsible for all use of the Solution via their Account.
Except in cases of technical failure attributable to JUMP AT WORK LTD or force majeure, the User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their login credentials.
In the event of suspected unauthorised access or compromise, the User must immediately notify JUMP AT WORK LTD at:

JUMP AT WORK LTD reserves the right to take any necessary security measures, including password resets or temporary suspension of access.
8. UNDERTAKINGS OF JUMP AT WORK LTD
8.1 Hosting and Security
JUMP AT WORK LTD undertakes, under a duty of reasonable care, to host User Accounts and data using its own infrastructure or that of professional hosting providers.
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration.
8.2 Availability
JUMP AT WORK LTD uses reasonable endeavours to ensure availability of the Solution 24/7, with a target uptime of 98%, excluding force majeure and maintenance periods.
The User acknowledges that interruptions may occur due to internet or telecommunications constraints beyond JUMP AT WORK LTD’s control.
8.3 Maintenance
The Solution may be temporarily suspended for maintenance or updates.
Where reasonably possible, Users will be informed in advance.
In the event of a critical security incident, JUMP AT WORK LTD may suspend access without notice to protect the Solution.

9. USER OBLIGATIONS
The User undertakes to:
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
- use the Solution lawfully and in accordance with its purpose;
- not share login credentials;
- not create false accounts or use a false identity;
- not interfere with or overload the Solution’s infrastructure;
- refrain from any fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
Any unauthorised extraction, scraping, data mining, or reuse of Solution content is strictly prohibited.
10. LIABILITY
10.1 User Liability
The User is solely responsible for their use of the Solution and indemnifies JUMP AT WORK LTD against any claims arising from misuse or breach of these Terms.
Indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profits or business) are expressly excluded.
10.2 Liability of JUMP AT WORK LTD
The Solution and Features are provided “as is”, without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
JUMP AT WORK LTD shall only be liable for direct and foreseeable losses caused by its proven breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
JUMP AT WORK LTD bears no responsibility for Third-Party Services.
11. TERM, SUSPENSION, TERMINATION
These Terms are entered into for an indefinite period.
Either Party may terminate them at any time with 15 days’ notice, without compensation.
JUMP AT WORK LTD may suspend or terminate access immediately in the event of a breach.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property rights relating to the Solution, including software, databases, trademarks, and content, are the exclusive property of JUMP AT WORK LTD.
No licence is granted except as expressly stated.
13. CONFIDENTIALITY
Each Party undertakes to keep Confidential Information strictly confidential during the term of these Terms and for five (5) years thereafter, except where disclosure is required by law or regulatory authority.
14. PERSONAL DATA
JUMP AT WORK LTD acts as Data Controller under UK data protection law.

15. MISCELLANEOUS
- Severability: invalid provisions do not affect the remainder of the Terms.
- Assignment: Users may not assign these Terms without prior consent.
- No Waiver: failure to enforce a provision does not constitute waiver.
- Testimonials: Users grant a free, worldwide licence to use testimonials for promotional purposes.
- Third-Party Links: JUMP AT WORK LTD is not responsible for third-party websites or services.
- Advertising: promotional content may be displayed within the Solution.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16.2 Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
